Alie Kabba serves as ambassador and permanent representative of Sierra Leone to the United Nations. Before his current appointment, he was minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Sierra Leone, where he provided overall strategic and policy guidance in managing the country’s global relations at both bilateral and multilateral levels. Alie also served as executive director of United African Organization based in Chicago, where he led policy advocacy as well as fiscal and programmatic development of the organization.
