Stephen currently leads the Emerging Economies business at Arm. In this role he is responsible for building Arm’s technology and ecosystem relationships across Africa and South America.

He also serves as the Managing Partner of LIONS@frica and the Founder of the African Technology Foundation, a  Silicon Valley corporation that seeks to globalize African technologies by providing access to resources  that effectively address and manage the most pressing technological challenges on the continent. Over the past decade, he has managed a myriad of stage-agnostic technology projects on the continent and actively advised and invested in Africa’s emerging entrepreneurs.

Prior to these roles, he served as a Foreign Direct Investment Manager for the Government of Catalonia  and managed multiple projects related to technology incubation, commercialization and  internationalization. As a technology enthusiast, he has advised many private and public agencies on  various aspects of technology integration, mobile inclusion, smart cities, mobility and digital inclusion.  Stephen has a Master’s degree in Information Technology, an MBA in Global Business and an Executive  Diploma in Behavioral Finance from Pepperdine University and Harvard University respectively.
